Overview

The Guest List Calculator is an advanced tool designed to manage guest lists and seating arrangements for events, particularly tailored for Indian cultural events. This calculator allows users to add, edit, and delete guest entries, categorize guests, and track their RSVP status. Additionally, it provides functionalities to filter guests by RSVP status, search for guests, and generate a PDF of the guest list.

Features

• Add Guest: Input fields to add guest name, category, meal preference, and RSVP status. Form validation to ensure all fields are filled before adding a guest.
• Guest List Table: Displays the list of guests with their details. Options to edit or delete guest entries. Filter guests by RSVP status. Search for guests by name.
• Guest Count Summary: Provides a summary of the total number of guests and the count of each category (Family, Friends, Colleagues).
• PDF Generation: Generates a PDF of the guest list, including total guest counts and individual guest details. Replaces the rupee symbol with "Rupees" for currency representation.

Input Fields

• Guest Name: Enter the name of the guest.
• Category: Select the category of the guest (Family, Friends, Colleagues).
• Meal Preference: Choose the meal preference of the guest (Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, Vegan, Jain).
• RSVP: Select the RSVP status of the guest (Pending, Accepted, Declined).

Functionalities

Adding a Guest

1. Fill in the guest's name.
2. Select the guest's category.
3. Choose the guest's meal preference.
4. Select the guest's RSVP status.
5. Click the "Add Guest" button.

Editing a Guest

1. Click the "Edit" button next to the guest entry in the table.
2. The guest's details will be loaded into the input fields.
3. Modify the details as needed.
4. Click the "Add Guest" button to save the changes.

Deleting a Guest

1. Click the "Delete" button next to the guest entry in the table.
2. The guest will be removed from the list.

Filtering by RSVP Status

1. Select the desired RSVP status from the "Filter by RSVP" dropdown.
2. The table will display only the guests matching the selected RSVP status.

Searching for a Guest

1. Enter the guest's name in the "Search Guest" input field.
2. The table will dynamically update to show guests whose names match the search query.

Generating a PDF

1. Click the "Download Guest List as PDF" button.
2. A PDF file will be generated and downloaded, containing the guest list and summary.

Summary Section

The summary section displays the total number of guests and the count of each category:

• Total Guests: Total number of guests added to the list.
• Family: Number of guests categorized as Family.
• Friends: Number of guests categorized as Friends.
• Colleagues: Number of guests categorized as Colleagues.
